Deleting Friends...Fixing relationships?

My life has gotten so laughable that even I'm not sure what to do anymore. So thats two friends gone in a short span, sorry Emily, John may get jealous of you soon and I'll have to delete you as well. It'll be a lot harder to delete you from real life, so I'll just kill ya, k?

Fuckin hell man. Why don't I do stand up? Seriously, I have an arsenal of retardedness to share with the world.

Wasting time

I have been up far to long already today and its only going to continue to drag on. Thank god John introduced me to "Stumble" a click and I'm transported to a whole new site with new and different things to look at. I'm excited and its helping me stay distracted from the emptiness of this bedroom.

Fastforward and rewind: A week in Review

Hello faithful readers, sorry I have neglected you but John was here and I had to work. So every other minute was filled with kissy face and being sickly cute.
But lets start this bitch off right, shall we?

Monday night, I slaved away in the kitchen preparing a lasanga of kings before passing out from being up at 5am. Tuesday I had to work so I got up and John made me coffee and brought me a bowl of cereal, which was sweet of him.
Work was work, nothing stood out in my mind other than the fact that I was told that my pants were not "Dress code appropriate." which I was waiting for, and told them so.
Since you know, they were spattered with blue ink everywhere and torn and ragged at the bottoms.

Then John and I had a nice romantic evening at the laundry mat where we did all of my washing, and dried it for about 30 bucks. Had a dinner of pizza and calzones to the sounds of the rinse cycle. This is stuff love is made of, you know. (Correction: We did this Sunday Night. Sunday, not Tuesday.)

We headed back and put my laundry away, both of us dead tired but wanting to get it done. My closet is neater and he has space for his clothes now. Which is good.

Tuesday he baked a cake while I was at work. Bit crisp on top, but with enough icing you couldn't tell and it was delicious. Yes.

Wednesday I had the day off and we spent it driving to my dads house and eating. My brother, who had 2 weeks notice if not more, bailed on us and offered no real reason why. My father and I our writing him off completely. If he can't be bothered to care, then neither can we. that is all.

Dinner was delicious but then it started to snow. Bad snow too. Took us two hours to drive home when it normally takes about an hour. We stopped at a gas station and I wandered around for 20 minutes because I was frazzled and didn't want to get back in the car. I don't like almost dying, and I don't like it when I have to focus so intently on not doing so.

Thursday we did a lot of stuff, one of them being sitting around. But I honestly cant remember what. This is why I should blog on a daily basis. Seriously.
Friday and Saturday I worked, but Saturday I came home after teaching John to cook chicken over the phone and continued making dinner.

We ate and then played some guitar hero and had an entire bottle of vodka. I thought the boy was going to die. Which I will blog about later in detail because its funny as hell...

Sunday he recovered from his hangover and I slept more. We drove to Noodles and Co for lunch before meeting with the realtor about houses. Turns out theres about 88 listings for three bedroom, basement and garage. Some of them are really nice, and all of them are under the price we're looking for. I was shocked and super excited. We headed to my parents house to talk to them and ended up staying an hour.
We went back to the apartment to lounge about and clean and pack. And then we picked up Emily and left.

That is all for now, its the day after and John just logged on the internets which means I should pay attention to him. Or you know, play the sims.

My Brother is insane.

He's been on the phone with me for 30 minutes and has reminded me over and over again how much I miss him.
He's having a break down over our dad calling so much, and when he drinks he's like me. He talks, about everything and everyone.
God I love him.

Things I should have learned by now

Tonight at work I had an hour lunch and like all of my hour lunches I headed outside to smoke, then stopped at subway and finally hit up the book section of the store. I picked out a book by Johanna Lindsey, a favorite of mine ever since I was younger. I had about 30 minutes left and headed to the break-room to read. Managed to get 77 pages in and knew it was going to be hard to put down.

I got through the rest of my shift and headed home knowing full well that I was going to read some more tonight. I forgot, that when I start a book I can not pause in the middle of it only to pick it up again later. I immerse myself in the book, envisioning the characters, feeling their emotions and rooting for good to win over evil. Every time, and you would think after 16 years of reading I'd have learned this by now, but no.

So here I sit at 2:30 Am smiling over the romance and the happy ending. Thrilled that Tristan turned out to be a great guy (Although I knew he would...even if I had my doubts in the start.) and that Bettide lived and so did her daughter. And I've realized that every time I put one of these books down after finishing it, I'm happy but then I am instantly hit with sadness.
Because if theres anything these romance, love filled books make me want to do, it's hug John.

Now I am filled with a strange mixture of emotions not really sure which one is the most important. (Probably the sleepiness) but on the upside, Walmart has caused me to start reading a lot more!

A letter to John...

Dear John,
I know that right now you are thousands of miles in the air headed home, but I want you to know that I love you and you have made the last week wonderful. I know I bother you, and I'm sometimes mean and smack you around but I love you. And you didn't balk at the amount of money I spent, you didn't care how much I spent when it came to my family and you were there every step of the way while I freaked out over cooking dinner.

You started my coffee in the morning and poured me endless diet cokes just to see me smile. You dropped money like it was nothing just because you know I've been stressed out about rent. You woke up before dawn and scraped off my car. You did my dishes and my laundry, you held me tight when I was having nightmares.

You my dear are amazing, and I love you so much. Every minute away from you hurts, but I know the end results will be great. I know I give you shit, and I'm a bit of a brat from time to time but I love you, and its not about money or anything else, it's about how even when I'm mad you make me laugh so hard I'm snorting. About how I can be free and myself with you, and have no problems trying to pretend to be something else, because you love me for me. And I dear, love you for you, silly dancing, farting, and snoring... all of it. Because you, you make me a better person.

I hope your flight lands safely and we both know that until I get that 6AM phone call from you saying you are not dead I will be sitting up nursing my captain and coke worrying. I'll try to distract myself with TV and perhaps a bit of guitar hero, but I will be doing what I do best.. Worrying.

Until the next time I can hold your hand and see you smile at me, I'm not as happy as I could be, but I'll pretend and I'll make it through. No worrying about me, because I know that eventually I wont have to drive you to O'Hare anymore, and I wont have to look at the seat next to me in the car blinking back tears.

Only Two months, but it sure feels like forever.
